CHALLENGE

The University of Minnesota's Center for Spirituality and Healing is an organization committed to enhancing health and well-being through the education of health professionals. To better demonstrate importance of living in a healthy environment, the group was looking to support of green initiatives in its own office through the use printed and presentation materials.

SOLUTION

Considering that a center for higher education was introducting "going green", Proforma recommended starting with a folder. The Envirobinder is a 3-ring binder made of 100% post consumer recycled chipboard. The low VOC (volatile organic compound), renewable vegetable-based ink used to print the binder adds to the environmentally-friendly aspect of the binder.

RESULTS

The University of Minnesota loved the attractively printed Envirobinders. They were exactly what the Center was looking for - an effective way to present material and eliminate the university's impact on the environment. Not to mention, the binders are cost-efficient and practical. The Center is hooked on the product line. In fact, they decided to use the binders throughout its other programs and are looking forward to increasing their "green footprint".
